ABG ANALYSIS – OXYGENATION, VENTILATION & ACID-BASE

  • Oxygenation: PaO₂, FiO₂, P/F ratio, A–a gradient.
  • Ventilation: PaCO₂, hyper/hypocapnia, minute ventilation relationship & peri-operative ventilation adjustments.
  • Acid–Base: Systematic interpretation, respiratory/metabolic acidosis & alkalosis, mixed disorders, compensation & peri-operative situations.
